M is for Riot: animation

Based on page two of M is for RIOT: comic

I've become a big fan of Attack on Titan recently, and really admire how concise and clear the action is during fight sequences. Oftentimes on other shows, fight scenes are too messy and chaotic. I wanted to animate a scene that had demonstrated the same clarity of action as is found in AoT.

Aimation was roughed in Macromedia Flash then cleaned up in Paint Tool Sai. The tradigital method used here was, for me, a nice break from the exhausting work on My Little Pony (symbol-based Flash). This is the first animation made entirely on a Cintiq Companion, and took 2 1/2 months of my free time.

Sound effects were sampled from SSFIV, SSBB and other sources.
